Dandelion inquiry

Students seen all the dandelions spread across the lawn and inquired about them.
We measured how long some of the stems were and noticed that some dandelions were closed and did not bloom.
We learned that every morning the dandelions opened and that at night they close.
When the flower dries up, small seeds appear.

The seeds make a ball of white fluff. It is called the seed head.
We learned that if you blow on the seed head, the seeds will scatter and land in different places.
