We now have IPads in the Early Years area. Yeah!! We will be implementing them into our program.
We like to use the following apps, please let child experiment with the apps they could even show
you a few things!! I know they have shown us, when we were stuck.
Apps for Literacy
1. Owl Preschool-Ipad app
2. 123 Kids Fun:ABC Alphabet Phonics
3. Pocket Zoo-an app which brings animal videos to life. There're videos for numerous animals some even have live cams to see the different animals. They have animal sounds, videos and much more.
4. Geoboard- a math app, in which children can make anything using elastics on the geoboard.
5. Drawing Pad - this app is a fun and relaxing activity for your child.
6. 100's Chart-a great game to have you children to count, you can highlight number if counting by 2's, 5's and 10's.
