" I have 10"  yes you do, can you show me 5? 

Lets count them again, we only need 5.  What can you do to make five?

Shadia was able to recognize she had too many and took 5 away.

Assim counting " show me 5"

After counting he was able to talk it through and recognize he had to many.

2nd try Assim was able to take the remaining nuts away to show me 5

Using spiders to help us count one to one

We are using tweezers and small beads to help with our fine motor skills.

When asked if she had 7 or 10 Marijana counted and said 10.  Mrs. Osborne asked her can you show me 7? Her 2nd try Marijana said" I have to take 3 away" and she was able to give the correct answer.
