We had a great day at The Windsor Public Library

we took a book walk which means we look at each page and talk about what we think the book

is about.  Then we read the book to see if we were right about the story line.   

After the story we were able to read books with our grade 8 buddies and some of our parents who joined us.  Thank you parents who joined us and helped read to your child and other friends in our class.  

 

After our reading time downstairs we were then brought upstairs to the children's area  Where the children are able to take books out from the library.  The children enjoyed taking books from the shelves, playing with legos and the other table toys they had there.

Back at school the students had a chance to colour a book page from the library.  Some enjoyed colouring more than one page. All and all the day was a great experience for our students to observe and enjoy The Public Library.  Thank you to Mrs. Gebert Noade's  grade 8 class and to all the
