Measuring our friends with measuring tapes

Mrs. Osborne  "I think he is 44 lbs tall"  said Ilee  (as we look at the measuring tape I ask them do we measure in pounds, inches or centimetres?).   Ilee was very eager to say pounds!!😊. I explained to them we measure our weight in pounds on a scale like when we go to the doctors.  ( they smiled and laughed at me). 

"48 inches" said Ilee.
