We recently received some painted lady larvaes. The larvaes will grow in the small containers and then we will place them in our butterfly netting closure. Once in the closure the caterpillars will grow and then form a chrysalis around themselves before turning into a butterfly.
Ask you children what stag we are at with our larvae? What do the larvae look like? How big are the caterpillars? What colour are they? Some questions for you to talk with your child about his/her day.
We released our butterflies!
