We have been working on using ten frames in math. Our students are having fun using different manipulatives like small animals, tokens, beads and stickers, to represent the number card.
Saad was doing a fabulous job at working with a ten frame. I asked him "Are you ready for
a hard one?", "it will be the hardest one yet" I chose the number 1 and he looked at me
and started to laugh. He said "that is easy!"
