Student nurses came in to explain how germs are transmitted through coughing and sneezing.
The students began to understand and identify the reason for washing hands and why it is important as well as when we should wash our hands.
Many activities involved pictures, songs and visual demonstration. They were really interested in the pepper science experiment. They explained that the pepper resembled germs.
The pepper was in the bowl of water.. Germs are everywhere . Students placed their finger in the bowl with soap on the tip of their finger. Once placing the tip of their finger in the bowl the pepper disbursed.
Students found it really cool!!
