Flashlight Friday
We had our first FLASHLIGHT FRIDAY!! Thank you to Mrs. Buffa's SK/1 class
who gave us the great idea. When we Skype with them it was their flashlight Friday.
What a great day we had! You ask; What is Flashlight Friday?
Well each Friday we will go through the day without any light on (to conserve energy)
and then the children are able to investigate with a flashlight. We have made an investigation cave
for the students to read, or talk while using a flashlight. It was an interesting day
as our students used the flashlight on the ceiling, on the floor, on the walls and in books.
Oh and let's not forget using themselves!! They can not wait until the next Flashlight Friday...
