 Our 5 Senses-Hearing
We took five glass jars, water,3 spoons (wooden, medal, plastic) and food colouring.
We added water of different levels to the jars and then added food colouring.
We then let the children experiment with the different spoon on the jars.

Monty noticed that we put less water in this and more water in this....small, medium and big
Nezar was trying to play it like a xylophone
Mrs. Osborne asked questions :
What do you see?
What do you notice about the sound?
Nezar..."They make the same.... guys look watch this (hitting spoon on the top.)
"It sounds like a drum.  It looks like we are making sounds."
"You could use our fingers too." said Talal
Warrick "see" as he put the spoon in the water
"I see so giant" said Nezar as he looks at the spoon in the water with the magnifying glass
"I see deep blue" said Warrick
During this time Nezar went to the science table to get more magnifying glasses for his friends.
The children were exploring the spoons in the water and how their appearances change in the water.

Hajar said "I hear a  sound like a tornado its a circle"
Fatima said " sounds like music birds"

Fatima and Hajar music with our musical jars!!
