Our 5 senses

 My Five Senses  

 Mrs. Osborne was beginning to read the 5 senses using her puppet. Students were ask to give the puppet a name. Some wanted to call him Mr. Pillon, some wanted to name him Davis. So we decided to call him Davis by a class vote. 

Students were engaged with the read aloud. Davis(the puppet) asked what do I use to hear?

Students responded you hear with your ears! 

Davis asked them to close their eyes and listen to what you could hear? 

Some students responded to hearing voices talking and music. 

Davis asked them what do you smell with? 

With your nose!!! The students shouted.

Davis the puppet talked about the sense of touch and smell and gave examples of each.
